Privacy policy

Last updated:

This site belongs to Noam Katzman, a freelance web developer. This policy explains what information the site collects, what it's used for, and your rights. The short version: the site only collects what you type into the contact form, and only uses it to reply to you.

Who is responsible

Noam Katzman. For anything about your information, email noamkatzman.dev@gmail.com.

What is collected

When you send the contact form: your name, your email address, what you need, your rough budget, the project details you write, and the page you sent it from. You're not legally required to provide any of it, but without a name, an email and a few words about the project, I can't reply.

The site sets no cookies. It uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without building a profile of you. Your IP address is used briefly to block spam (too many messages in a short time) and is not stored with your message.

What it's used for

Only to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote, and talk with you about the project. It isn't sold, rented or added to a mailing list, and it isn't used for advertising.

Where it's stored and who can see it

  • Messages are saved in a database run by Supabase, on servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). The site itself can only add messages, not read them.
  • A copy of each message may be emailed to my Gmail inbox, which Google provides.
  • The site is hosted by Vercel, which handles the traffic to it.
  • Only I read the messages.

How long it's kept

Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any work that follows, and deleted automatically after 24 months at most. You can ask for them to be deleted sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email noamkatzman.dev@gmail.com and I'll reply within 30 days.

Security

The site only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the database is locked so that messages can be added through the site but not read or changed through it.

Links to other sites

The site links to other places, such as GitHub and project demos. They have their own privacy policies.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
